Convention Passes
When you arrive at Convention, you will receive identification passes with the RISK theme on them.  These ID’s are great souvenirs, but they will also be necessary for identification purposes during the entire Youth Convention (this means the entire event – all events and activities!).  You will receive ONE pass per person at the Convention Registration Desk during Registration.  Please advise all persons in your group that these passes must be presented for all Youth Convention events and activities.  It is important that they do not lose them!  There will be a charge to replace them if lost.

T-shirts Convention t-shirts will be offered this year at a cost of $10.  T-shirts will only be available to pre-order with registrations postmarked by February 22, 2008.  After this deadline, a limited supply of t-shirts will be available at Youth Convention at a higher fee.

Housing
We are very excited to be able to, once again, offer you remarkable hotel rates.  The cost will vary from hotel to hotel, but each price will be per room plus hotel tax, per night.  Please review the Hotel List; these hotels offer a Convention Rate Discount.  The “Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey” is our headquarters hotel and will serve as our housing bureau.  The rest of the hotels are for housing and will serve as our overflow hotels, as well.  There is free parking at all of the hotels listed.   Make sure that your Hotel Reservation Form is postmarked by February 22, 2008!  Doing so will ensure your ability to get this year’s special rates!  Please note that you MUST cancel rooms and make room block changes within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in.  Please be careful in making your hotel registrations. Many hotels are now adopting an early departure fee:  In the event that an individual who has reserved a guest room within the group’s reserved room block checks out prior to the reserved check out date, a fee may be charged to the individual.
We ask that you will only use one of the hotels that we have listed.  NOTE: The Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey, our headquarters hotel, will be reserved for guests planning to stay both Thursday and Friday night.

Meals
Directions to a shopping mall will be available for groups that would like to eat in the food court and are willing to travel 10-15 minutes. There are also fast food restaurants in the immediate area of the Arena.
